Air Blows On Floor Not In Front Vents

I have a 1991 s 10.

Air blows on floor not in front vents.

Problem started after a trip to south florida it was blowing on and off out of the vents but weak. Any one know what i need to do to fix this problem. There is a motor that controls the selection of where the air. The air won t blow out the dash vents.

Where the air comes from when vacuum is lost the system defaults to the defrost mode. If an ac vent is not blowing air in one room in your home then close the vents in other rooms either partially or wholly to improve the airflow to that room. Had to play with the switch to get it to blow. Owners have reported several instances of the air conditioning not blowing through main dash vents or only blowing through the floor and defrost vents.

I have heard some people say it is probably a vaccum hose issue. Often this is experienced after replacement of the battery. No air from floor vents or defroster vents only front vents.
